 | | JAZZ A VIENNE |
To the north of Roussillon, Vienne was founded by the Gauls and subsequently invaded by the Romans who extended the city and left behind a number of important buildings.
Vienne is now one of the most admirable ancient cities in France, where the temple of Augustus and Livia and Cybèle archaeological gardens and Roman theatre (home to an annual Jazz Festival) can still be seen.
The annual Jazz Festival takes place every year inJuly within the Antic Theater.
